Bibbity Bobbity Boo

Great! I FINALLY feel the rush to blog again after a LOOONNNG hiatus.

That's cos l'il claire has her attention spread among a few interesting thingeys... First it was the rehearsals which culminated in the TO-DIE-FOR trip to Bali (which I shan't bother blogging cos there's just TOO much to say), then spent the next 3 days missing Bali and looking through the pics and feeling sorry for myself for being back in boring ol' Singapore.

Then it was another wedding thingey with E and S, then I went through the whole music phase when I spent mornings on the piano, afternoons on the violin and evenings at the Esplanade chilling out or score-searching. I was even at the Esplanade thrice in one week.

Then cos mr D's acting up again, I went out lots and social activity became a blur. Through friends, I met this cool female lobbyist who jetsets around the world organizing campaigns for environment-protection, children's welfare, etc. Then through her, we met 2 Harvard docs who're finishing their studies and doing their housemanship. Then we all happily went to sing Karaoke and ended up crooning to mouldy oldies cos the selection's so limited. Oh well.... Singapore!

Then E and I met up with E's friend, this cool French who's really a Russian spy in disguise (I'm kidding). And all 3 of us being jazz lovers hit City Space at Swissotel for some chilling.

Then it was my room revamp phase which in the end didn't amount much. Realised I needed work clothes so I overturned the whole bloody cupboard and separated the 'work-worthy' ones from the non-work clothes. Threw away ALL my Uni and JC texts and notes. FINALLY! *sheesh, I'm such a hoarder! Sec 3 Chemistry notes were still underneath my bed in a box!!*

Spent some nights partying and some days going to church for services and some prayer meetings. This Christian rock band came to SG and took my weekend away, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! They're like SOOOOO cool!!!

Then some days were spent fretting over my career options, which I realised shouldn't even have been an issue to begin with, cos I'm so happy right now. Had to choose between one industry and another and one bank from the other and the decision killed off like 1/4 of my brain cells and caused a MASSIVE zit outbreak and several bad hair days (cos was constantly tearing hair out). Can ya imagine that level of stress? It was like a million issues swimming in my head at every moment threatening to drive me insane. Thank goodness for my dear friends who could give objective views on stuff!

Some evenings again were spent studying with Mr D, who reversed his acting up attitude and became cute and cuddly and loving again. He's such a pig, but such a cute one!

But then, I have a new bee. hee hee...

Then work started and then bam bam bam.... social activity spirals outta control. Lunches with friends at that area, lunches with new colleagues whom I adore and post-work gatherings.

Watched Over the Hedge and She's The Man (I'm too stretched thin for anyting other than comedies). Both were H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!! Hammie TOTALLY hams up the show with his caffeine-induced speed and his large teary eyes when he said "I'm not stupid..."

And Amanda Bynes was Abso-f**king-lutely likeable in She's The Man. We went in expecting a tween flick and were rewarded with TONNES more. The premise was a bit on the tall side, but COME ON! Tampons for nose bleeds and being knocked on your nuts by a soccer ball are just TOTAL CLASSICS, I tell ya! And there's the "Eew, girls with asses like mine DO NOT go out with guys with faces like yours." retort which was just WICKED!

Then again, it has to be good. The Bard wrote it after all (originally known as Twelfth Night). PLUS of course there's the Yummylicious Duke, soccer captain of Illyria *droolz*

It's ze horrid weekly Saturday exams which I HAVE to pass ahead, so every hour's spent on mugging now... dammit!

Overall, life can't get any better! Cheers! *clink*
